Previously known as Forman Vehicle Services, we’ve been operating as ‘Forman: A division of Ardent’ since our acquisition by Ardent Group in May 2019. This mutually beneficial procurement provided Ardent with the expertise and vehicle safety specialism of our staff, while giving us the global infrastructure support and bolstered supply chain needed to grow.
Now, we have fully transitioned into Ardent, evolving into a complete safety solutions provider with a diverse product portfolio that offers safety and accessibility systems to a broad range of sectors.

Ardent V-Series includes a range of electronic systems designed to enhance safety and improve communication in buses, coaches and minibuses.
With years of experience working with leading transport authorities, manufacturers and operators, we are committed to driving safety forward. Our range of electronic systems is the result of extensive collaboration with Transport for London (TfL) and bus manufacturers to provide solutions that help achieve the highest bus safety standards. The Ardent V-Series systems can be integrated to provide a comprehensive bus safety system.

ClearConnect™️ induction loop
The ClearConnect hearing loop has been designed to make travelling on public transport an accessible, reliable, and a relaxed experience for hearing aid users.
Vehicle Multi-Message System
The Multi-Message System is designed to simplify driver alerts using spoken word messages and tones for clear, concise messages and warnings.
Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System
The V-AVAS is specifically designed for electric and hybrid buses and coaches to emit a sound that warns road users of the direction, speed and location of quiet vehicles.
Engine Shutdown System
The Ardent Engine Shutdown Unit is designed to reduce excess fuel consumption, engine running time and emissions by monitoring and limiting vehicle idle time.
Vehicle Intercom System
The Intercom Unit is designed to improve communication between passengers and the driver in cases where assault screens may impair communication.
Vehicle Light Monitoring System
The Ardent Vehicle Light Monitoring System passively monitors connected LED lighting circuits, alerting the driver in case of a light failure.
Vehicle Lighting Control Unit
The Lighting Control Unit offers increased safety and passenger comfort during low light hours, automatically activating lighting circuits when lighting levels drop below a threshold.
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System increases the safety of road transport vehicles, alerting the driver if low pressure or high temperatures are detected.
